I am a software engineer in training with a background in Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley. My passion lies in community, education, and the preservation of cultural and environmental heritage. I strive to uplift the voices of underrepresented communities through creative storytelling. My ultimate goal is to create a lasting archive that showcases the lives and experiences of communities of color, utilizing a blend of artistic and technical mediums, including podcasts, websites, apps, and textiles.
As a storyteller, I express my thoughts and emotions through various forms of art. Drawing allows me to visualize my inner reflections, while music serves as an outlet for my emotions. I also sew to honor the unique needs of others, weaving together narratives and experiences through textile art. Through my work, I aim to foster connections, preserve history, and celebrate the rich tapestry of our diverse communities.
